Surgery Update

This is the husband here. Steph is doing fine. I figure I'd give a quick blog update on her status in case anyone hasn't been contacted. Both the mastectomy and reconstructive surgery went great. The best news is that the sentinel lymph node biopsy came up negative which essentially means the cancer is completely gone! She's still in ICU but she's relieved and in good spirits and should be moved out of ICU Saturday and should be out of the hospital in 4 to 7 days.
